Opel Mokka GSE Official Pricing

The first examples of the eagerly anticipated new Opel Mokka GSE have officially arrived in Ireland with one spotted at the recent Nevo test drive event in Waterford. Inspired by the new Mokka GSE Rally car and wrapped in a distinctive motorsport-inspired design, the Mokka GSE becomes the most powerful electric road car ever produced by Opel and is already a winner of the prestigious Golden Steering Wheel 2025 award. Available as a special-order model in Ireland and priced from €39,410 including SEAI grant and VRT rebate, the new Mokka GSE combines high-performance electric driving with everyday practicality, comfort and advanced safety technology. Opel has also confirmed that the Mokka GSE will be joined by an all-new Corsa GSE model towards the end of 2026.

Commenting on the arrival of the Mokka GSE in Ireland, James Brooks, Managing Director of Opel Ireland, said: “The new Mokka GSE is a showcase of pure driving pleasure. All-electric, efficient, practical and highly emotional in every respect, it is already an award-winner. It revives the high-performance Opel GSE badge of old and looks to the future, today standing for Grand Sport Electric.”

Performance is central to the Mokka GSE’s appeal. Producing 281hp (207kW), it matches the output of its rally-inspired counterpart and delivers 345Nm of instant torque for rapid acceleration. Opel claims a 0-100km/h time of just 5.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 200km/h. To ensure performance is matched by stopping power, the Mokka GSE is fitted with race-inspired Alcon 380mm ventilated front brake discs. Drivers can choose between three distinct driving modes Sport, Normal and Eco with Opel quoting a WLTP driving range of up to 336 kilometres from the 54kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

A relatively lightweight kerb weight of under 1.6 tonnes, impressive for a battery-electric vehicle, also contributes to the car’s dynamic character. The Mokka GSE benefits from a range of advanced chassis technologies inspired directly by Opel’s electric rally programme, including a Torsen multi-plate limited-slip differential, specially developed suspension components and new hydraulic shock absorbers. Opel says many of the car’s high-voltage components, including the motor, inverter, battery and wiring harness, are derived directly from the Mokka GSE Rally. The exterior design leaves little doubt about the Mokka GSE’s sporting intent. Unique GSE badging, aggressive bumper styling, bespoke alloy wheels and prominent yellow four-piston brake calipers all reinforce its motorsport-inspired appearance.

Inside, the sporting theme continues with specially designed black GSE Alcantara performance seats featuring integrated headrests, alongside aluminium-effect sports pedals and a driver-focused cabin layout. Irish specification is particularly generous, with standard equipment including 20-inch GSE Performance Diamond Cut bi-colour alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres, Intelli-Lux Matrix headlights, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and start, heated front seats, a heated vegan leather steering wheel, integrated satellite navigation with EV route planning, wireless smartphone charging and an electro-chromatic frameless rear-view mirror. A wide range of advanced safety technologies also comes as standard, including enhanced automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane positioning assist, side blind spot alert and forward collision warning.

The new Opel Mokka GSE is now available to order through Opel dealers nationwide for the 262 registration period and is backed by Opel’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty as standard.
