FIAT has revealed the first official images of two important new additions to its global line-up, the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, as the Italian brand continues its push to strengthen its position in the competitive C-segment. Built on a shared global platform and designed for markets around the world, the two models represent FIAT’s vision of affordable and accessible mobility, while catering to different customer needs and lifestyles. The Grizzly has been developed as a practical and versatile SUV aimed squarely at family buyers. With compact dimensions and an upright design, it has been engineered to maximise interior space and everyday usability. FIAT says the model offers generous headroom and cabin accommodation, making it equally suited to the daily school run, commuting duties and longer family journeys.
Alongside it sits the Grizzly Fastback, which adopts a more stylish and dynamic approach. Featuring a sleeker roofline and a more expressive design, the Fastback has been created with customers seeking a more premium and lifestyle-focused alternative. Despite its sportier appearance, FIAT says the Fastback also benefits from enhanced luggage capacity, making it well suited to longer trips and family adventures.
Commenting on the unveiling, Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global Chief Marketing Officer, said:
“Grande Panda marked the return of FIAT to affordable family movers. With Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we’re completing this line-up with two vehicles designed around different needs and different lifestyles, while sharing the same philosophy of smart, accessible mobility rooted in FIAT’s design DNA. Together, they bring FIAT back to the heart of the family mobility market with a complete and coherent range.”
Both models will be available with a choice of powertrains ranging from traditional petrol engines through to fully electric variants, giving customers the flexibility to choose the drivetrain best suited to their needs. While each model has its own distinct character, both share a common focus on practicality, comfort and technology. FIAT says considerable attention has been paid to interior quality and ease of use, with technologies designed to simplify everyday life and enhance the ownership experience. Despite measuring less than 4.5 metres in length, both the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback promise class-leading practicality, with spacious interiors and what FIAT describes as best-in-class luggage capacity forming a key part of their appeal.
The new models also form part of a wider global manufacturing strategy, with production and distribution spread across multiple regions to ensure competitiveness and proximity to key markets in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. The Grizzly family is scheduled to arrive in Europe and the Middle East and Africa during the second half of 2026. Irish specifications, pricing and exact arrival dates will be confirmed closer to launch, but the new models are expected to play an important role in expanding FIAT’s range and strengthening its presence in the family SUV sector.
