Dacia is refreshing its Irish range with major updates to Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger. Sandero remains Europe’s retail best seller and in 2024 became Europe’s best-selling car across all channels, passing 300,000 sales. Jogger continues to grow and was the second best-selling non-SUV in the European C-segment last year. The facelift brings a new look outside with an inverted T LED light signature, a redesigned grille and bumper, new wheel options and a shark fin antenna from Expression trim. Sandero Stepway and Jogger add extra body protection made from Starkle, a recycled plastic used unpainted for durability, and new colours include Amber Yellow and Sandstone.

Cabins gain tougher fabrics, new blue trim themes by grade and improved ergonomics with a revised steering wheel. A larger 10-inch central screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now available, plus a refreshed 7-inch digital cluster and an optional wireless phone charger. Dacia’s YouClip mounting points are fitted throughout, with new accessories such as a glasses case and shopping bag. Practical touches include added anchor points in the tailgate or boot depending on model.

Powertrains are upgraded for better performance and efficiency. Jogger adopts a new Hybrid 155 system that increases power and improves economy versus the previous Hybrid 140, operating in EV mode for most city driving and always starting in electric. The same Hybrid 155 will come to Sandero Stepway in the fourth quarter of 2026. Sandero’s 1.0-litre turbo rises to 100 hp with a six-speed manual, while Sandero Stepway gets a stronger 110 hp version with the same gearbox.

Safety and comfort are stepped up with standard fitment of the latest EU-mandated driver aids including automatic emergency braking with vulnerable road user detection and driver attention alert. A new My Safety shortcut lets drivers quickly call up preferred ADAS settings. Options now include automatic headlights that optimise high beam use, a multi-view camera for low-speed manoeuvres and power-folding mirrors, grouped as a Driving Pack that is standard on Jogger Journey and available on higher trims of the other models. Overall pricing will continue to focus on strong value by improving equipment without losing Dacia’s market-leading price to features ratio.
