Porsche has unveiled its eagerly awaited all-new Macan at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This is the first model for Porsche in the Compact SUV segment. It’s on sale now with three models on offer, two petrol and one diesel. Prices commence from €69,741 for the Macan S Diesel, it’s powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 258hp. The Macan S (€76,864) is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo petrol engine that delivers 340hp. The range-topping Macan Turbo (€105,266) has a 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo petrol engine that produces a stern 400hp, enabling it to accelerate to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds from a standstill.

 

All variants come equipped with a seven-speed PDK twin-clutch transmission and active all-wheel drive with Porsche traction management. Also included as standard is a multi-function sport steering wheel with shift paddles, alloy wheels, front and rear ParkAssist, USB connectivity, a high performance audio system and an electrically operated tailgate. Just some of the optional equipment includes air suspension and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, this system distributes varying levels of drive torque to the rear wheels and works in conjunction with an electronically controlled rear-axle differential lock. All customers who purchase a new Porsche Macan will receive a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone where they can explore the potential of their new Macan.
