Ford Ireland today launched its official Transit Team Directory, a new initiative celebrating skilled Irish tradespeople nominated by their local communities. As part of the launch, the newly assembled team is inviting charities, community groups, youth clubs and local organisations across Dublin to submit projects in need of practical support. The Transit Team Directory celebrates the tradespeople who help keep communities across Ireland running every day, while recognising the important role the Ford Transit continues to play in supporting Irish businesses.

The initiative also highlights Ford’s Power Promise, designed to help tradespeople transition confidently to the next generation of electric and electrified commercial vehicles through connected services, charging support and customer care. Following a nationwide public nomination process, five standout tradespeople were selected to join the Transit Team Directory. Each team member will receive access to a Ford Transit vehicle for 12 months to support their work and growing businesses.

Andy Duff of Carpenter on the Hill received a Ford Transit Custom PHEV. Dylan Doyle of Eden Landscaping received a Ford E-Transit Trend. Dean Meleady of Plumb Nest Ltd. received a Ford E-Transit Custom. Denis Carney of Sapphire Décor received a Ford E-Transit Custom. Mikey Sheridan of Lighthouse Electrical received a Ford E-Transit Courier.

Speaking at the launch of the Transit Team Directory, John Manning, Managing Director of Ford Ireland, said: “The Ford Transit has supported Irish tradespeople and businesses for generations, and this initiative is about recognising the incredible contribution these skilled workers make to communities across the country every day. Through the Transit Team Directory, together with the support of Ford Pro and our Power Promise commitment, we want to ensure Irish tradespeople feel confident embracing the future of commercial mobility while continuing to support the communities they serve.”
