The new CUPRA Raval has secured a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, achieving the maximum score under the organisation’s new and more demanding 2026 assessment protocols. The all-electric compact model performed particularly strongly for crash protection, scoring 91 per cent, while post-crash safety was rated at an impressive 95 per cent. It also recorded 77 per cent for crash avoidance and 72 per cent for safe driving.
Euro NCAP highlighted the Raval’s strong occupant protection, with maximum points achieved in the full-width frontal test and side barrier impact. The car also features a comprehensive suite of active safety technology, including autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, emergency lane keeping and cyclist dooring protection. The five-star result applies to the Raval fitted with its optional Safety Pack, which adds predictive adaptive cruise control and forward traffic alert. The Raval will become CUPRA’s new entry-level electric model as the Spanish performance brand continues to expand its EV line-up.
