Audi To Sponsor Dublin International Film Festival

Audi join forces with the Dublin International Film Festival in an exciting new three-year title sponsorship deal with Ireland’s. From 2016, the prestigious film festival will be known as the Audi Dublin International Film Festival.  Gaby Smyth, Chair of the Festival Board, commented on how Audi was the ideal fit for the Festival: “We were impressed not only by the scale of their ambition, but also their passion for supporting and celebrating culture and their willingness to help in bringing the Festival to ever wider audiences”.

“This new partnership marks the beginning of a fantastic new chapter for the festival. It’s time now to focus on next year’s event, which is shaping up to be an exceptional programme. Since its inception in 2003, the festival has grown in breadth and quality of participation, recognition and international standing as can easily be evidenced through partnerships with brands such as Audi.”

Audi sees a strong brand fit with the Dublin International Film Festival and its attendees.  The brand has a long history of partnering with the creative arts, including the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the Berlinale Festival and the Emmy Awards. With the broad reach of the Audi brand and its longstanding association with the arts, the premium car manufacturer is confident that it can support the world-renowned film festival in reaching an even wider audience and improving the festival attendees’ experience.
