Automotive AI voice platform Viova is expanding its presence in Ireland following its sponsorship of Cannonball Ireland 2026. The company, which already works with dealerships across North America and Europe, used the four-day Irish supercar event to demonstrate its technology while supporting Ronald McDonald House Ireland, Cannonball’s official charity partner for 2026.
Viova has been developed specifically for automotive dealerships, using AI to manage inbound calls, outbound customer follow-ups and intelligent call routing. Rather than replacing existing dealership reception or sales staff, the system is designed to handle missed calls and routine enquiries while helping ensure customers reach the appropriate department. The company says this can help dealerships recover opportunities that might otherwise be lost through unanswered calls or delayed follow-up.
During Cannonball Ireland, Viova established a dedicated event hotline providing spectators with real-time information as more than 200 supercars, hypercars and novelty vehicles travelled around the country. The service handled more than 900 calls and over 1,000 minutes of conversations during the event, answering questions about routes, start times, stops and viewing locations. It also sent live tracker links to spectators and routed messages directly to event organisers.
The Cannonball hotline effectively provided a live demonstration of the technology Viova offers dealerships, albeit in a very different environment. The company already operates in markets including the USA, Canada, UK, Spain and Germany and is now looking to increase its Irish dealership customer base. Irish dealers can trial the system before making a longer-term commitment, allowing them to assess its effect on missed calls, customer enquiries, appointment bookings and overall phone traffic.
