Ireland’s flagship celebration of electric mobility returned to the RDS Simmonscourt last weekend, and the atmosphere was palpable. The Nevo Electric Vehicle Show, in partnership with Bank of Ireland, ran across two busy days, with Business Day on Friday 7 November and Public Day on Saturday 8 November. Building on last year’s success, the 2025 edition drew more than 21,500 attendees and delivered a broader programme, larger displays and more vehicles than ever, cementing its place as Ireland’s largest showcase for electric vehicles, clean energy and smart mobility.

Bank of Ireland returned as title partner, while SSE Airtricity once again served as Exclusive Energy Partner, highlighting the central role of energy solutions in Ireland’s transition to electrification. Every automotive brand operating in Ireland was represented, joined by a wide cross section of exhibitors spanning public and home charging, solar energy, personal and public e-transport, smart-home technology and wider energy services.

Saturday’s Public Day was a full scale, hands on experience. More than 120 electric vehicles were displayed across 56 stands representing 34 car brands. Nissan, the official vehicle launch partner, unveiled the all new Micra and the latest Leaf in their first official Irish appearances, giving visitors an exclusive first look. Over 30 vehicles were available to test drive in the SSE Airtricity Driving Experience, while ESB ecars hosted a live demonstration area featuring 12 vehicles. Throughout the day, EV expert Derek Reilly led in depth walkarounds, performance insights and Q&A sessions with brand specialists, and additional unveilings from leading marques kept the show floor buzzing. Feedback from manufacturers and distributors pointed to a highly engaged audience with strong purchase intent. A post event survey is now under way to quantify the buying appetite and measure the value for exhibitors.

Friday’s Business Day was designed for organisations planning their route to net zero. With climate targets approaching, the programme brought together senior decision makers from across Ireland for keynotes, panels and practical case studies from companies already electrifying successfully. GEOTAB, ESB, SSE, Activ8 Energies and Pragmatica hosted workshops on fleet management, smart energy integration, data led planning and strategy, helping leaders quantify total cost of ownership, plan infrastructure and navigate policy with confidence. Initial reports indicate high value conversations throughout the day, new business appointments booked and orders placed ranging from 50 to 100 vehicles. A detailed analysis of company profiles and outcomes will follow as data from attendees is reviewed.

Headline attendance figures underline the event’s impact. Across both days, the show welcomed more than 21,500 people, with 19,641 visitors recorded on Saturday alone. Doors opened to a queue of over 500 at 9.30 a.m., peak footfall reached around 1 p.m. with more than 4,500 in the venue, and average dwell time was up by 25 percent compared with previous Nevo events. Early findings from the post event survey, now approaching 1,000 responses, show that 76 percent of respondents said the show positively influenced their view on going electric, 45 percent plan to buy an EV within the next nine months, and the top reasons for switching were running cost savings, interest in the latest technology and environmental impact. Seventy five percent said they would definitely attend again.

“We are truly delighted with the response to the event and the incredible footfall on Saturday. Friday was also a hugely successful day with a high profile business and fleet audience,” said Simon Andreucetti, Managing Director at Nevo. “With more brands, more test drives and deeper energy insights than ever before, this year’s show was about helping people and businesses move from interest to action.”

“It was a pleasure hosting the live demos where we put the facts from each vehicle in front of consumers,” added Derek Reilly, Content & PR Director at Nevo. “That like for like perspective across brands helped prospective buyers make informed choices in real time. The atmosphere was fantastic.”

With its mix of consumer excitement and practical, data driven guidance for industry, the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show has become a pivotal annual platform for Ireland’s shift to cleaner transport. The combination of national partners, a comprehensive line up of manufacturers, energy providers, and a highly engaged audience delivered meaningful conversations with measurable outcomes. Full post event insights, including the complete attendee survey, will be published in the near future.
