SEAT is entering an exciting new chapter with refreshed versions of two of its most popular models, Ibiza and Arona. The updates celebrate the brand’s heritage while reinforcing its commitment to accessible mobility. Both cars advance on three fronts: a cleaner, more expressive exterior, a more refined interior and a stronger overall value proposition. Ibiza remains a true SEAT icon, on sale since 1984 with more than six million units sold, and it continues to embody youthful, creative spirit. Arona, launched in 2017 and already chosen by over 750,000 drivers, stays true to its brief as a vibrant, versatile urban SUV.
On the outside, both models gain sharper styling, fresh colours and a renewed range of alloy wheels in sizes from 16 to 18 inches. A new hexagonal grille with diamond-shaped mesh in matt and polished finishes emphasises width and adds sporting character. Slimmer Full LED headlights extend the visual stance and deliver a crisper light signature with improved beam range and efficiency. The redesigned front bumper cleans up the surfaces and frames sensors and fog lamps within the blacked-out sections for a neater technical look. At the rear, Ibiza introduces a newly sculpted bumper that underscores its youthful attitude, with a longer horizontal highlight to widen the appearance. FR versions add a laser-etched FR logo on the B-pillar, while the new alloy wheel designs, offered in painted or machined finishes, bring both visual impact and tyre technology that boosts efficiency. Colour palettes are refreshed with Liminal, Oniric and Hypnotic joining the range. Arona also offers contrasting roof colours in Midnight Black or the new Manhattan Grey to personalise the two-tone look.
Inside, quality and comfort take a clear step forward. New embossed textiles, a darker headliner and subtle neutral accents lift perceived quality, while soft-touch materials and textile-finished door panels make the cabin feel warmer and more premium. In the launch edition FR trim, supportive bucket seats are standard, delivering everyday comfort with a sportier edge. The steering wheel is trimmed in perforated leather for a precise, tactile feel, and a new rotary gear selector tidies the centre console layout. Technology is upgraded with an enhanced SEAT Sound system featuring six speakers, a subwoofer and a 300 W amplifier. Wireless fast charging rises to 15 W and now uses refrigerated technology to keep phones at an optimal temperature while charging.
Under the bonnet, both models balance efficiency with engaging performance. Engine choices span petrol units from 80 hp to 115 hp. The Ibiza can be specified with a 1.0 MPI 80 hp three-cylinder paired with a five-speed manual. Both Ibiza and Arona offer a 1.0 TSI 95 hp three-cylinder with a five-speed manual, and a 1.0 TSI 115 hp three-cylinder available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG. Each option has been tuned to suit daily driving while keeping running costs in check.
Designed, developed and built in Martorell, Barcelona, the new Ibiza and Arona are available to order now at SEAT retailers nationwide.
