Tesla has announced a series of upgrades to its best-selling Model 3 and Model Y, underscoring the company’s “better over time” philosophy. The enhancements increase driving range across key variants and add new functionality to Model 3, with pricing remaining unchanged.
Model 3 now features a new front-facing camera integrated into the front fascia. It provides an expanded view of the surroundings on the center display and includes a fluid washer and integrated heating to prevent fogging and keep the lens clear in all weather. A newly engineered indicator stalk delivers more precise, effortless control.
Range improves across the lineup thanks to higher-density battery packs and Tesla’s segment-leading efficiency: Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive is now rated at 520 km WLTP on 19″ wheels (approximately 554 km on standard 18″ wheels), up from 513 km; Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive reaches 750 km WLTP on 18″ wheels, up from 702 km;
Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive delivers an estimated 716 km on 18″ wheels, up from an estimated 678 km; and Model 3 Performance now achieves 580 km WLTP, up from 528 km. Model Y benefits from the same battery improvements, with the Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant now rated at 629 km WLTP, up from 586 km, further extending its real-world usability.
