Formula 1 Fans are in for a real treat on the weekend of 30th to 31st August when the Alpine R.S.19 F1 car will go on display to fans in Dundrum Town Centre as part of the Centre’s Super Car Weekend. Produced by the Renault F1 Team (now BWT Alpine Formula One Team), the R.S.19 competed in the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship, raced by Nico Hülkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo. Weighing just 743kg (driver included) and boasting over 950 horsepower, the car reaches top speeds of approximately 355km. Nico, in his third season for the team, and Daniel in his first, raced the car to fifth in the Constructors’ Championship, scoring 91 points during the 2021-race season.
The car is designed around a moulded carbon-fibre and aluminium honeycomb monocoque which is designed for maximum strength and minimum weight and features the team’s striking 2025 livery from this season’s A525, driven by Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto. Fans can also experience the thrill of the track themselves with an Alpine racing simulator located in the Alpine Store on Level 1 of Dundrum Town Centre, where the brands two popular road cars – the hot hatch A290, voted European Car of the Year 2025, and the stunning two -seater sports car the A110 are also available to view.
Alpine road car models are available for test drive and order from the Alpine Store Dublin Windsor MotorMall, at junction 5 off the M50 and from Tuesday 26th – Thursday 28th August the Alpine R.S.19 F1 will make an appearance there before moving to Dundrum for the Super Car Weekend.
