Renault Ireland and Rosemary Smith are delighted to announce their partnership with Renault signing Rosemary up as its newest ambassador today. Showing no signs of slowing down, the former rally driver runs the Rosemary Smith Driving Academy in Goff’s, Co. Kildare, which offers young learner drivers a complete driving instruction programme which is taught on private grounds away from the dangers of the open road. She also caters for more mature students who may feel nervous behind the wheel. The former 1950’s stylish dress designer disregarded all stereotypes and beat many of her male counterparts to the finish lines of several rallies, including the Tulip Rally in 1965.
