Range Rover has confirmed a fifth model will join its growing line-up with the introduction of the all-new Range Rover GT, a striking grand tourer that promises to blend long-distance luxury with the brand’s renowned all-terrain capability. Offering the first official look inside the new model, Range Rover says the GT has been designed around the same minimalist philosophy as its exterior, with an emphasis on clean lines, premium materials and a calming cabin environment.
The interior adopts a new single-screen layout, complemented by a dedicated driver display that replaces the traditional instrument cluster. A full-width concealed air vent stretches across the dashboard, while a woven textile finish integrates the speakers into the dashboard itself, creating a cleaner and more refined appearance. The result is a cabin designed to minimise visual and acoustic distractions while making key vehicle functions more intuitive to access.
The Range Rover GT will become the first all-electric Range Rover built on Jaguar Land Rover’s new EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) platform. It will be produced at the company’s Halewood facility in the UK alongside petrol and hybrid models. While the GT will launch as a battery electric vehicle, Range Rover has confirmed that hybrid powertrains are planned later in the model’s lifecycle.
Martin Limpert, Managing Director of Range Rover, described the GT as a vehicle that will redefine the grand touring segment.
“The Range Rover GT will deliver beautiful proportions, effortless long-distance refinement and capabilities no conventional GT can match,” he said. “Its blend of electric performance, exceptional comfort and genuine all-terrain ability is pure Range Rover, while its calming interior previews our vision of the modern grand tourer.”
Development of the new model is now entering its final stages, with prototype vehicles currently undergoing road testing wearing a bespoke camouflage wrap. Designed in-house, the gold-patterned camouflage takes inspiration from the topography surrounding Gaydon, home to Range Rover’s design and engineering teams, while also reflecting the advanced technology beneath the bodywork. The full unveiling of the all-new Range Rover GT is expected later this year, with further technical details to be revealed in the coming months.
