Isuzu Ireland has appointed Cabra Cars in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, as an authorised dealer for the Isuzu D-Max pickup range, reinforcing Isuzu Ireland’s ambitious network expansion strategy and strengthening sales and aftersales coverage across the north-east, including Cavan and the surrounding areas. The appointment fills a strategically important product segment within Cabra Cars’ portfolio at a time of rising demand – both regionally and nationwide – for robust, value-driven pickup models. Key sectors driving this growth include agriculture, construction, manufacturing and the wider trades, where proven durability, payload capability and whole-life operating costs are critical purchasing considerations.

Operating from two modern retail facilities in Kingscourt; a 3,500sq.ft. showroom on the Bailieboro Road and a larger 7,000sq.ft. showroom on the Shercock Road, Cabra Cars services customers across Ireland’s north east. The dealer combines strong geographic accessibility with a reputation built over more than 70 years in the local market.
A purpose-built 18,000sq.ft. workshop is at the heart of Cabra Cars’ passenger car and LCV service operations, employing around 20 technicians and incorporating light and heavy DOE test lanes alongside a fully-staffed parts department. With more than 60 employees based in Kingscourt alone, and as part of the Gilmore Group’s four-site network across Kingscourt, Navan and Mullingar, the dealer delivers full Isuzu D-Max sales and aftersales support, including advanced diagnostics and scheduled maintenance carried out Monday to Saturday by Isuzu-trained technicians using OEM-approved parts.
