Audi A6 allroad e-hybrid Quattro Arrives in Ireland

Audi has expanded its growing electrified line-up with the arrival of the all-new Audi A6 allroad e-hybrid quattro, introducing plug-in hybrid power to one of the brand’s most versatile models for the first time. Now entering its fifth generation, the latest A6 allroad builds on a formula that has made it a favourite among drivers seeking the practicality of an estate car combined with the capability and presence of an SUV. Blending long-distance comfort with genuine all-weather confidence, the newcomer promises to be equally at home on the motorway, winding country roads and rougher terrain.

Visually, the new model adopts a more muscular stance than the standard A6 Avant. A wider body, allroad-specific exterior detailing and increased ride height give it a more purposeful appearance, while large alloy wheels and protective cladding reinforce its adventurous character. As before, quattro all-wheel drive remains central to the A6 allroad’s appeal, but the latest generation also benefits from standard adaptive air suspension and enhanced all-wheel steering. Together, these technologies are designed to deliver greater agility and stability, whether tackling challenging roads or covering long distances in comfort.

One of the biggest developments for the new model is the introduction of a plug-in hybrid powertrain. For the first time, the A6 allroad combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 270 kW and 500 Nm of torque. The electrified drivetrain allows drivers to complete many everyday journeys using electric power alone, with Audi quoting an all-electric driving range of up to 94 kilometres under the WLTP test cycle. The combination of electric efficiency and quattro traction is expected to make the A6 allroad an appealing choice for customers seeking lower emissions without sacrificing the versatility and performance for which the model has become known.

Inside, Audi has created a cabin that places technology firmly at the centre of the experience. Dominating the dashboard is the latest Audi MMI panoramic display, which incorporates an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The result is a modern and highly connected environment that reflects the brand’s latest design direction. Customers will also be able to specify a range of premium features, including a dedicated passenger display, digital Matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights. Additional comfort options such as ventilated and massage seats, along with a panoramic glass roof featuring switchable transparency, further enhance the luxury feel.

Practicality has always been one of the A6 allroad’s strongest attributes, and the latest model continues that tradition. Flexible rear seating, integrated roof rails and generous luggage capacity ensure it remains ideally suited to family life, active lifestyles and extended touring.

Commenting on the arrival of the new model, Christian Gussen, Brand Director of Audi Ireland, said “The A6 allroad has always offered a unique blend of comfort, versatility and capability. He noted that the latest plug-in hybrid version builds on that reputation with a striking new design, advanced electrified powertrains and enhanced technology throughout, making it equally suited to family adventures, business travel and exploring beyond the beaten track.”

The all-new Audi A6 allroad e-hybrid quattro will open for orders in Ireland from 18 June, marking a new chapter for one of Audi’s most distinctive and capable estates!
