Dundrum Town will celebrate five years of Supercar Weekend this August, with Ireland’s popular free automotive showcase returning on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August with its biggest programme to date. More than 100 prestige, performance and classic vehicles will descend on Dundrum Town for the two day event, accompanied by interactive displays, family entertainment and a number of new experiences introduced to mark its fifth anniversary. One of the biggest additions for 2026 is Supercar Weekend After Dark, a new ticketed evening event hosted by Carl Mullan. The event will feature a live audience Q&A with motorsport drivers and content creators Max Hart and Alex Denning, covering their experiences driving some of the world’s most exotic machinery, creating automotive content for millions of viewers and the continuing evolution of global car culture. Mullan will also host a special panel discussion with Supercar Weekend curator John Mohan and the private owners of five standout vehicles. The discussion will explore the stories behind the cars, their engineering and the passion that drives collectors to own and preserve significant automobiles.
Among the featured cars will be the all electric Rolls Royce Spectre, a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a selection charting the evolution of BMW M performance models, a Bentley Continental GTC and the formidable Porsche 911 GT3 RS. With limited capacity, Supercar Weekend After Dark is designed to offer enthusiasts a more intimate experience and the opportunity to hear directly from leading personalities and collectors. Tickets are priced at €20. Also joining the programme for the first time is a VIP Experience taking place before the main event opens on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Ticket holders will receive early access to the collection of more than 100 cars, coffee on arrival and a guided tour with curator John Mohan, alongside offers from participating Dundrum Town retailers and restaurants. Another highlight of this year’s event will be a rare opportunity to see Tesla’s Cybertruck in Ireland. The radically styled electric pick up will be displayed in Town Square throughout Saturday and Sunday. With its angular design and stainless steel exterior, the Cybertruck remains a rare sight on this side of the Atlantic and is not currently offered for general sale in Europe.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy a range of interactive attractions throughout the weekend, including Carzone’s Coffee Zone and family friendly entertainment around the venue.
Don Nugent, Senior General Manager at Dundrum Town, said the fifth anniversary represented an important milestone for the event.
“We’re delighted to celebrate five years of Supercar Weekend and to mark the occasion with our biggest and most exciting programme yet. The event has grown into a must attend fixture for motoring enthusiasts, families and visitors from across Ireland, and we’re proud to continue building on that success. This year’s anniversary edition introduces a host of new experiences, including Supercar Weekend After Dark and our exclusive VIP Experience, alongside the incredible line up of vehicles and entertainment that visitors have come to know and love.”
Carl Mullan said he was particularly looking forward to hosting the inaugural After Dark event.
“Cars have always been a huge passion of mine, so getting the chance to sit down with Max Hart and Alex Denning, hear their stories and chat about their incredible experiences in the automotive world is something I’m really looking forward to.”
Max Hart added: “Alex and I have shared some great experiences over the years, with plenty of stories and memories between us, so I’m sure it will be a great bit of fun. It’s a brilliant event and I can’t wait to see everyone there and celebrate our shared passion for cars and motorsport.”
Supercar Weekend takes place at Dundrum Town on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August 2026, with the main daytime event remaining free to attend.
