Circle K has officially reopened its newly refurbished Shannon store following an investment of more than €900,000, delivering an enhanced shopping experience, expanded retail services and improved facilities for motorists and the local community. The redevelopment forms part of Circle K’s continued investment in its Irish retail network, creating three new jobs while retaining a further 12 positions at the Shannon site. Customers will find a significantly improved in-store experience, including an upgraded hot and cold deli, an expanded grab-and-go food range, a refreshed bakery offering and an enhanced coffee experience featuring customer favourites alongside speciality options such as matcha.
The refurbishment also introduces a brand-new off-licence, offering an extensive selection of beers, wines and spirits, including a dedicated wine chiller and an expanded premium wine range. The drinks selection has also been broadened with a wider choice of functional beverages, vitamin-enhanced waters, fibre-infused sparkling drinks and matcha products, complemented by an expanded confectionery and snack range. Motorists will also benefit from enhanced mobility services, with the addition of four EV charging points across two charging hubs, four dedicated EV parking spaces and a new premium car wash featuring Circle K’s Ultimate Wash programme. To mark the reopening, a number of additional in-store offers will be available throughout July.
