Mazda has revealed the all-new CX-6e, an all-electric mid-size SUV that combines the brand’s renowned driver-focused character with impressive range, advanced technology and a comprehensive suite of safety features. Power comes from a rear-mounted electric motor producing 258PS and 290Nm of torque, delivering smooth acceleration and the balanced handling that has become synonymous with Mazda. A 78kWh LFP battery provides a driving range of up to 484 kilometres, while 200kW DC rapid charging can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in just 24 minutes.
Drivers can tailor the CX-6e’s performance using three selectable driving modes. Normal mode is optimised for everyday driving, Sport sharpens throttle response and steering, while Individual mode allows drivers to customise the vehicle’s acceleration, regenerative braking and steering settings. Inside, Mazda continues its driver-centric philosophy with a high-tech cabin centred around a large Head-Up Display and a wide 26-inch dual-screen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard, while voice recognition and gesture controls make accessing key functions simple and intuitive.
Rear-seat passengers are equally well catered for with their own touchscreen for climate control and seat adjustment, while a premium 23-speaker audio system delivers an immersive listening experience throughout the cabin. Safety is another key focus, with every CX-6e equipped with an extensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Features include Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Emergency Lane Keeping, Radar Cruise Control and Child Presence Detection, alongside nine airbags as standard.
Owners will also benefit from dedicated smartphone apps that provide remote vehicle functions, digital key sharing for up to three users and seamless access to public charging networks across Europe. Blending Mazda’s celebrated jinba ittai driving philosophy with zero-emission performance, cutting-edge connectivity and impressive practicality, the all-new CX-6e is set to arrive in European showrooms in late summer 2026.
