Toyota Liffey Valley Wins Coveted 2026 Ichiban Award

Toyota Liffey Valley has been recognised by Toyota Motor Europe with a 2026 Ichiban Award, placing the Dublin retailer among the highest-performing Toyota businesses in Europe for customer experience. The annual Ichiban Awards recognise retailers that consistently deliver for customers, combining strong service standards with operational discipline and a deep commitment to Toyota’s customer-first approach. The word Ichiban translates from Japanese as “number one”, reflecting the standard of excellence associated with the award.

The 2026 Ichiban Awards ceremony took place in the Algarve, Portugal, bringing together Toyota’s leading European retailers to recognise achievement, share best practice and reinforce Toyota’s ambition to deliver ever-better mobility experiences. Toyota Liffey Valley joins 46 other Toyota retailers from 34 countries honoured this year. Winners were selected from Toyota’s European retail network of more than 2,200 operations, underlining the significance of the achievement.

Speaking at the announcement, Steve Tormey, Chief Executive of Toyota Ireland, said:
