Toyota Ireland has lifted the cover on its 2026 line-up, setting out a busy year of new product and strong value offers as the brand enters its fifth straight year as Ireland’s best-selling carmaker. The message is clear: whatever stage you’re at on the journey to lower-emissions motoring, there’s a Toyota to match. Four new models lead the charge across battery-electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid power, backed by nationwide 261 offers designed to make the switch more affordable.

Headlining the news is the all-new Toyota C-HR+, a battery-electric take on Toyota’s style-led crossover, due in March 2026. It pairs a 77 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 609 km and supports fast charging up to 150 kW, allowing a 10–80% top-up in as little as half an hour when conditions are ideal. The design remains a key draw: sharp surfacing, bold character lines and a coupé-like roofline deliver the familiar C-HR attitude, while a 416-litre boot keeps it practical. Prices start from €41,355.

Arriving from March as well is the next-generation RAV4, offered first as a hybrid and followed by a plug-in hybrid. The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid adopts Toyota’s latest sixth-generation PHEV system and a 22.7 kWh battery, bringing an EV driving range of up to 100 km on the WLTP cycle. A 50 kW DC charging capability (model-dependent) can take the battery from 10 to 80% in around 30 minutes, making school-run top-ups or opportunistic charges far more useful than before. Irish pricing begins at €46,795, with final specifications due closer to launch.

Toyota’s dedicated electric “bZ” model also gets a comprehensive update in time for the end of this year. A new 73.1 kWh battery targets up to 567 km of range, while the design team has sharpened both the exterior and cabin. The front end is cleaner and more aerodynamic, and inside there’s a modernised dashboard with a new centre console and a 14-inch multimedia screen standard across the range. The updated bZ is listed from €41,355 including SEAI grant and VRT relief (excluding VAT and related charges).

Completing the quartet is the all-new Aygo X Hybrid, landing in January 2026. It’s Toyota’s first full hybrid in the city-car segment and the most affordable model in the line-up. The crossover-inspired stance remains, now combined with Toyota’s latest hybrid hardware for brisker responses and sharper acceleration. Toyota quotes class-leading 87 g/km CO₂, which helps keep VRT low, and a total system output of 116 DIN hp. The 0–100 km/h time slips under 10 seconds, making the Aygo X Hybrid nippy in town and relaxed on the open road. Prices start at €24,195.

To support the new arrivals—and help more drivers reduce running costs and emissions—Toyota is rolling out 261 offers across its dealer network for a limited period. The package blends lower APR finance with trade-in boosters across twelve models. Illustrative examples include the Yaris with a €1,000 trade-in booster and 5.9% APR from €217 per month; Yaris Cross with either a €1,250 booster or 4.9% APR from €230 per month; and Corolla Hatchback, Saloon and Touring Sports each available with a €1,750 booster or 4.9% APR, with representative monthly payments in the €237–€249 range. Corolla Cross combines a €1,750 booster with 5.9% APR from €290 per month. For C-HR buyers, the hybrid variant can be taken with a €1,750 booster or 4.9% APR from €280 per month, while the C-HR Plug-in Hybrid offers a €2,000 booster or a 3.9% APR from €270 per month. Prius is available with a €2,500 booster or 3.9% APR from €326 per month. The refreshed bZ carries a €2,000 booster or 3.9% APR, the new C-HR+ offers a €2,000 booster or 4.9% APR, and the Aygo X Hybrid pairs a €750 booster with 5.9% APR. As always, final terms, deposit levels and delivery-related charges will vary by dealer and specification.

Irish motorists can sample the new range and discuss the limited-time finance during the Toyota Electrified Event, which runs nationwide from October 25 to November 8. It’s an opportunity to test drive back-to-back—hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric—and figure out which path fits your driving pattern best, whether that’s primarily urban commuting, regular inter-urban runs, or a mix of family and leisure use.

Commenting on the announcement, Zoe Bradley, Head of Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs at Toyota Ireland, said the 2026 range showcases the best of Toyota’s innovation, with four head-turning launches and two fully electric options. The goal, she added, is to offer choice, efficiency and cutting-edge design for every kind of driver, now with a completely electrified passenger-car line-up thanks to the new Aygo X Hybrid. The 261 offers and trade-in boosters are intended to make moving into a lower-emissions Toyota more attainable.

Taken together, the new models underline Toyota’s multi-path approach: rather than pushing a single solution, the brand is meeting customers where they are with hybrids for ease and familiarity, plug-in hybrids for those who can charge at home and want maximum flexibility, and full EVs for drivers ready to go all-electric. With C-HR+, RAV4 Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid, the updated bZ and the Aygo X Hybrid arriving over the coming months—and with finance tailored to lower monthly outlay—Toyota is positioning 2026 as a year to widen access to cleaner motoring without asking Irish buyers to compromise on style, practicality or price.
