Is this one of the best-looking saloon cars now available on Irish roads? We certainly think so! The all-new Mégane family is expanding with the introduction of a four-door version – the all-new Mégane Grand Coupé, a striking sleek saloon design. This model completes Renault’s offering in the C-segment and strengthens the brand’s position in Ireland, where compact saloons remain the preferred choice for comfort and space. The all-new Mégane Grand Coupé shares many styling features with its five-door sibling, including its lighting signature which is visible night and day with the front C-shaped lighting signature features LED 3D-effect light guides. The Signature version of the all-new Mégane Grand Coupé is equipped with full LED (LED Pure Vision technology) headlights complete with automatic main/dipped beams. The permanently-lit rear LED lights form a unique horizontal 3D-effect signature featuring Edge Light technology.

Travelling comfort is further enhanced by the careful attention that has been paid to the interior finish, to the quality of the soft-to-the-touch materials, which are within easy reach of the driver and passengers. The centre console is wide, tall and surrounded by a smart trim. The precision-designed seats promise and provide class-leading comfort and support thanks notably to the use of dual-density foam. The frames are the same as those employed for Espace and Talisman. To ensure its reliability, and in addition to the tests already carried out on the new Mégane hatchback version, the car was put through 276,000 kilometres on Renault’s test tracks in conditions designed to accelerate ageing. That is the equivalent of 828,000 kilometres of real-life use. Moreover, 24 vehicles covered more than one million kilometres in order to detect any potential issues and swiftly rectify them.
