The new Porsche 911 Turbo S builds on an iconic legacy, once again redefining what a high-performance sports car can achieve. Its predecessor was already considered a benchmark for combining performance, comfort, exclusivity, and everyday usability. Now available as both coupé and cabriolet, the latest generation arrives with greater power, sharper design, smarter aerodynamics, refined chassis technology, and more exclusive equipment.
At the heart of the Turbo S is Porsche’s most advanced powertrain to date. The newly developed T-Hybrid system produces 711 PS (523 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 ever built. Using lightweight 400 V hybrid technology, including two electrically assisted turbochargers, it delivers instantaneous throttle response and seamless acceleration. The eight-speed PDK gearbox with integrated electric motor transfers power to all four wheels, propelling the coupé from 0–62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 mph.
Despite gaining just 85 kg over its predecessor, the new Turbo S proves even quicker and more agile. During development testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it lapped 14 seconds faster, recording an official 7:03.92. Porsche engineers have paired this performance with uprated tyres and braking systems. The rear tyres are now wider at 325/30 ZR 21, complemented by new-generation compounds for improved dry handling without compromising wet grip. Braking is handled by the largest Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system ever fitted to a two-door Porsche, with discs up to 420 mm at the front.
Aerodynamics also play a key role. Active cooling flaps, a movable front diffuser, a variable front spoiler, and an extendable rear wing combine to improve cooling, stability, and efficiency. The system reduces lift when performance is needed but minimises drag when efficiency is prioritised. In wet conditions, it also helps shield the brakes from spray to maintain stopping power.
Chassis technology has been overhauled with electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control as standard. This system counteracts body roll, sharpens turn-in, and increases stability through active coupling rods. Combined with optional front-axle lift, the Turbo S balances everyday usability with racetrack precision. A titanium sports exhaust saves weight while delivering a sharper sound profile from the 3.6-litre boxer engine, whose asymmetrical timing enhances the acoustic character.
Visually, the Turbo S asserts its position with a wider body, distinctive rear intakes, and redesigned fascia with prominent ventilation. Exclusive Turbonite design details—used on the crest, badging, trim, and interior accents—signal its flagship status. Inside, the cabin features new materials including carbon-structured trim, neodyme highlights, and perforated microfibre headlining. Standard equipment includes adaptive 18-way Sports Seats Plus, HD Matrix LED headlights, Sport Chrono Package, PASM suspension, and PDCC anti-roll control. The coupé is a two-seater as standard, with optional rear seats, while the cabriolet comes as a 2+2.
Personalisation options are extensive through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, ranging from paint-to-sample finishes to carbon fibre detailing, lightweight roof and wiper components, and bespoke interior trim. For enthusiasts seeking a complete package, Porsche Design also offers the 911 Turbo S Chronograph, a handcrafted timepiece featuring Turbonite accents, matching dial colours, and wheel-inspired winding rotors.
