The Jeep brand has revealed the updated interior of the new Compass 4xe – a design focused on both practicality and adventure. Since its debut in 2006, over 2.5 million Jeep Compass models have been sold globally. This latest version is set to raise the bar in the compact SUV segment, one of the biggest markets in Europe. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the new Compass offers multiple powertrains including e-Hybrid, plug-in hybrid (4xe), and fully electric versions. It’s designed to perform well both off-road and in the city, with upgraded technology and safety features.
The Compass stays true to Jeep’s classic design with key features like the seven-slot grille, trapezoidal wheel arches, and a tough body structure. In the 4xe version, Jeep enhances its off-road performance even more. The suspension has been raised by 10mm, and new off-road bumpers improve approach, departure, and breakover angles (27°, 31°, and 16°). The 4xe also includes a modular black bumper shield, a matte anti-glare hood sticker, and a rear tow hook for added utility.
It rides on 19-inch wheels with taller sidewall tyres for better grip and comfort on tough terrain. These aren’t just visual upgrades – they help with real-world performance in muddy, rocky, or slippery conditions. Inside, the Compass 4xe is designed with outdoor life in mind. The cabin uses durable materials like polyurethane-coated seat fabric, which is twice as resistant and easier to clean than standard cloth. Rear seatbacks have an anti-scratch surface and added storage, while heavy-duty rubber mats protect the floors from dirt and water.
Daniele Calonaci, Head of Jeep Design Europe, says the Compass 4xe reflects his own lifestyle – balancing daily driving with weekend adventures. He highlighted features like the Selec-Terrain system and onboard altitude display as key tools for off-road trips.
The tan interior helps hide dirt, while red accents (instead of silver) give the cabin a bold, rugged feel. The Compass 4xe also features Jeep’s advanced Selec-Terrain system with an extra off-road mode for better traction on challenging surfaces. Tough, functional, and smartly designed, the new Jeep Compass 4xe is built for people who love to explore. It’s expected to arrive in Ireland in Q4 2025, with full pricing and specs to be confirmed closer to launch!
