The European Motor Show 2026 is set to transform the RDS, Dublin, into a high-octane playground this February Bank Holiday weekend, bringing together motorsport icons, live experiences and festival-style entertainment for an unforgettable two-day celebration of motoring. Taking place on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February 2026, the inaugural European Motor Show will showcase the full spectrum of motorsport, from the endurance of the Dakar Rally to the precision of Formula 1 and the intensity of Touring Car racing.

Designed to appeal to all ages and interests, the event promises far more than a traditional motor show experience. Moving beyond static displays, the European Motor Show embraces a vibrant festival atmosphere. Visitors can expect a Live Car Catwalk, live DJ sets, a curated food market, interactive gaming and technology zones, and dedicated spaces for families and younger visitors, creating an immersive and energetic environment throughout the weekend.

Clare Kilmartin, COO of the European Motor Show, said:
“The European Motor Show is about far more than cars on display. It’s about creating energy, excitement and shared experiences. We wanted to build an event that reflects the passion people have for motorsport and mobility, while also being accessible, fun and welcoming for everyone. Whether you’re a lifelong motorsport fan or simply looking for a great day out, there is plenty to discover.”

The 2026 line-up brings together leading figures from across global motorsport, offering insight, inspiration and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The World of Formula 1
Motorsport legend Christian Horner CBE will headline the Main Stage, joined by racing icon and broadcaster Tiff Needell, Formula 1 performance coach Bradley Scanes, and comedian and impressionist Conor Moore, combining expert insight, humour and behind-the-scenes stories from the pinnacle of racing.

Dakar Rally Legends
Adventurer and television personality Charley Boorman will appear alongside Oran O’Kelly, sharing stories from one of the toughest motorsport events on the planet.
Charley Boorman commented:
“I’m really looking forward to being back in Dublin for the European Motor Show on 1 February. I’ll be there with my good mate Billy Ward, catching up with Oran O’Kelly to hear all about his Dakar adventure, along with a few stories from Long Way Round. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant weekend celebrating everything we love about cars, bikes and adventure. Do come over and say hello.”

Women in Motorsport
An inspiring panel featuring Laura Jordan O’Connell, Tatiana Calderón (IndyCar and Formula 2 driver) and Irish racing champion Nicole Drought will highlight the growing influence and success of women across global motorsport disciplines.

Track Racing Stars
Rising talents Alex Denning and Max Hart complete a line-up that celebrates both international excellence and home-grown potential.

At the heart of the show, the European Motor Show Main Stage will host the Live Car Catwalk, a dynamic runway-style experience where audiences can see, hear and feel everything from classic rarities to modern supercars as they take centre stage in motion. Designed to bring fashion-show energy to the automotive world, this is set to be one of the standout attractions of the weekend.

The show floor has been designed to ensure there is something for everyone.

The Gaming Garage will cater to sim racing enthusiasts with high-fidelity virtual racing on professional-grade simulators.

The Innovation Hub will showcase the latest models from leading manufacturers including Volkswagen, Škoda, Mercedes, Fiat, Peugeot and DS, alongside electric mobility innovators XPeng, BYD, Smart and Leapmotor.

The Family Zone offers a space designed with younger visitors in mind, featuring the Digger Café, interactive RC diggers, dumpers and crawlers, as well as a dedicated kids’ activity area.

Food Vendors and Live DJ sets will add to the festival atmosphere across the weekend, providing great food, music and relaxed spaces to unwind between attractions.

European Motor Show 2026 will also feature sensory and autism-friendly supports, including a dedicated sensory area. These measures reflect the organisers’ commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for visitors with sensory sensitivities and additional needs.
