The Cannonball Grand Lions Tour is a five-star, all-inclusive road trip from March 19th-22nd across Wales, England and Scotland, combining iconic driving routes, mountain passes and luxury hotels. The tour begins in North Wales, guiding the convoy through Betws-y-Coed and into the dramatic scenery of Eryri National Park. Flowing mountain roads set the tone for the journey, followed by lunch at Palé Hall. The day concludes with an overnight stay and dinner at The Chester Grosvenor.
Day Two heads north through the Yorkshire Dales, with lunch at The Fell Hotel, before continuing across the wide-open roads of the North Pennines. The evening is spent at Matfen Hall, a five-star country estate near Hadrian’s Wall.
Crossing into Scotland on Day Three, the route follows historic roads alongside Hadrian’s Wall and into the Scottish Borders, where guests arrive at exceptional Schloss Roxburghe for a two-night stay.
The final full driving day explores the south of Scotland, taking in the dramatic Mennock Pass followed by lunch in The Peebles Hydro Hotel, before returning to Schloss Roxburghe for the closing evening. Guests depart at their own pace on the final morning, with Irish participants travelling to the ferry at Cairnryan.
