Volkswagen Ireland has announced a large price reduction of €9,550 for its 2015 Volkswagen Golf R. The 2015 Volkswagen Golf R will now commence pricing from €42,445. There is more good news with an increase in standard specification which now includes, Bi-Xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control, Climatronic 2-zone air conditioning and park distance control. The Golf R is available in both three and five-door variants with a choice of either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed DSG automatic transmission. The Golf R is the most powerful Golf with 300hp produced from its 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI petrol engine. The 2015 Volkswagen Golf R is now available to order from your local Volkswagen dealer.
