Audi Ireland’s all-new A3 Sportback e-tron is now on sale, with prices commencing from €39,950. The A3 e-tron is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that combines a 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine and an electric motor to produce 204hp. It has a rang of 50 kilometres on electric power alone and over 900 kilometres in combined mode. From an industrial power socket, it takes slightly more than two hours to charge the battery fully. From a normal 3 pin domestic power socket in Ireland, the charging process takes about three hours and 45 minutes. Just some of the standard specification includes, MMI navigation plus, xenon headlights, leather upholstery, air conditioning and unique e-tron design alloy wheels. The new A3 e-tron is available to order now and will arrive in early 2015.
