Peugeot has announced it will have its new Partner Electric van on display at the Hanover Motor Show, later this month before it goes into production next spring. It will be 100 per cent electric and have a range of 170km. It’s powered by two high-energy lithium-ion battery packs with a capacity of 22.5kW/h, which are located underneath the van to maximise load space. The Partner electric will produce 67hp and 200Nm of torque which is available instantly. It can be charged in both normal mode (6-9 hours charge) and fast charge (30 minutes for 80% charge). The new Partner Electric will be available in two lengths, 4.38m and 4.63m. ESP will be fitted as standard, as well as hill start assist. Prices will be announced closer to the van’s launch.
