It was success all-round for Ford at the recent Continental Irish Van of the Year Awards 2013. The Ford Fiesta Van and Ford Ranger have been named (respectively) Continental Irish Car-Derived Van of the Year and Continental Irish Commercial / SUV of the Year for 2013. The Ford Transit Custom took the overall Irish Van of the Year title at the main awards event last November. Commenting on the announcement, Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland said, “We are delighted with our three successes in the Irish Van of the Year awards – this is a great endorsement of our commercial vehicle line up and underlines why Ford vans continue to be Ireland’s favourite work vehicles”.
