BMW Motorrad has launched a new version of its best-selling helmet the System 6, with the introduction of the System 6 Evo. The System 6 Evo features a tougher, scratch-resistant sun visor along with a more robust visor mechanism over its predecessor. BMW Motorrad has also improved the helmet’s ventilation control on the chin and designed a revised spoiler for superior aerodynamics.

BMW’s flip-front System 6 has become its best-selling helmet since it was first introduced in 2009, offering low weight, excellent aerodynamics and enhanced levels of comfort for the rider. Just some of the features on the new System 6 Evo helmet include, a double visor: anti-fogging inner visor with an outer scratch-resistant visor and an integral sun visor, removable and washable interior, impact-absorbing EPS inner shell, low weight (1,570g) and the provision for installation of a BMW Motorrad Communication system.

The System 6 Evo helmet is available in a range of new colours, with prices commencing from €485.95. We currently have one on long-term test and chose the Neon Yellow colour, for maximum visibility. Our initial feedback is positive, with high levels of comfort and noise insulation on offer, we’ll bring you our full appraisal after a few months riding.
