Eimear Dillon has been appointed Product Manager for Citroën Ireland and Darren Quille has been confirmed as the Training and Technical Manager following an extensive recruitment programme to strengthen the team ahead of the 212-registration period next month. Eimear Dillon joins the brand with impressive industry experience following roles as product manager for Mitsubishi and MG Ireland at Frank Keane Group. Previously Eimear also worked for Volvo Ireland and Motor Distributors Ltd (MDL).

Darren Quille brings a wealth of technical experience to the Citroën brand following roles as a Master Technician within the Peugeot Ireland dealer network. In addition to his fifteen years of dealership experience, Darren is a keen motorsport enthusiast and will now head up the Training and Technical support portfolio for the Citroën Ireland dealer network.

Both announcements come at an exciting time for the Citroën brand in Ireland with eight new vehicle launches set to take place during the remainder of 2021 including the C3 and C3 Aircross facelift, New C4 and ë-C4 100% electric, C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, New flagship C5 X and electric versions of the Berlingo and Dispatch van range.

Speaking today, Colin Sheridan Managing Director at Citroën Ireland commented “At Citroën, we are currently preparing for an electric offensive as we launch a range of plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles over the coming months. By 2023, 80% of our car and van range will be electrified and by 2025 this figure will rise to 100%. I am delighted to announce the appointment of both Eimear and Darren who will both contribute enormously to this transition for the brand, and I look forward in anticipation to welcoming them both to Gowan House next month.”
