Suzuki Ireland has recently crowned the winners of its 2021 Dealer of the Year awards that had been delayed slightly due to Covid-19 restrictions. The trophies were presented by David Kateley, General Manager, Sales Operations Automobile for Suzuki GB PLC and Suzuki Ireland during a ceremony at the vehicle manufacturer’s dealer conference. The annual event, which gathers representatives from across the country’s network, recognises dealerships that have exceeded their goals and gone the extra mile to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Presenting the awards, David Kateley comments: “We would like to congratulate our winners for their fantastic achievements, and all 24 dealers across Ireland who have worked tirelessly for our brand during the last 12 months. Without this high level of commitment, Suzuki would not be in the position that it is now with such a strong sales result. We are very proud of our network and look forward to enjoying further success together this year.”
In 2021, Suzuki registered 1,285 vehicles in Ireland which translates to a 1.2% market share (2.4% Total Industry Volume Share). With 75% of those sales going to Private individuals, customer service is at the heart of the Suzuki dealership experience.
