Renault Ireland has made another commitment to renew its sponsorship of the most-watched programme in Ireland, The Late Late Show, for another two years. The sponsorship will begin when Ryan Tubridy returns to host the 56th season of the iconic show on Friday 2nd September at 9.35pm and will include stings to highlight its sponsorship of the show on RTÉ One, RTÉ One+1 and on RTÉ Player.

The Late Late Show remains the biggest show on Irish television, with an average audience of 571,200 viewers and regularly attracting more than 40 per cent of the viewing audience. Last season’s The Late Late Toy Show was the most watched programme of 2015 with a total audience of 1.56 million and other highlights included 720,000 people watching The Late Late Country Special and 618,000 tuning in for the The Late Late Valentine’s Special.

Commenting on The Late Late Show sponsorship, Paddy Magee, Country Operations Manager, Renault Group Ireland said, “We’re delighted to renew our sponsorship of RTÉ One’s best known and much-loved television show. Television plays an imperative role in our marketing communications strategy and we believe that after a hugely successful year of sales last year, sponsoring The Late Late Show is a great and, indeed, unique way to continue talking to our key audience.”

Gerry McGuinness TV Sponsorship Manager said , “The sponsorship of The Late Late Show is one of the most visible broadcast partnerships in Ireland and we are thrilled that Renault will continue to associate with the show.  We are confident that Renault’s engagement with the huge audience that enjoys the programme on Friday nights will continue to create increased awareness of their wide range of vehicles”

Renault’s first stings will focus on the elegantly stylish, All-New Renault Mégane, which is currently on sale in Renault dealerships nationwide. For more on Renault visit www.renault.ie
