To meet the requirement of precise, sport handling that makes up the lifeblood of the new all-electric Macan, Porsche has chosen Michelin as their ‘bespoke’ tyre supplier for the vehicle.
The French tyre manufacturer has developed three tyre ranges for the Macan – summer, winter and all-season – to meet Porsche’s ambitious design brief for what is the first all-electric SUV by the German carmaker.
Following several years of research, Michelin has drawn on the technological learning it has developed over eight seasons in the World Formula E Championships, where Porsche has competed since 2019.
