These are the first images of FIAT’s new people carrier, the 500L which will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show on the 6th March. We’ll be there at the show to bring you further news on this, and many other new cars.

This ‘L’ version expands the 500 range from the current 500, Abarth and Cabrio models. The 500L measures 414cm in length, is 178cm wide and 166cm tall and as a result can accommodate five occupants along with their luggage. This new model will be built in FIAT’s Kragujevac plant in Serbia and will be launched in Europe towards the end of 2012.  Powering it will be the TwinAir and 1.4l petrol engines along with a 1.3l MultiJet II diesel engine.
