Citroen’s acclaimed DS line beaks new ground with the arrival of the dynamic new DS4, which according to Citroen, “redefines expectations of a mid-size coupé with its unique blend of bold design, elegance and versatility”. Beneath the car’s coupé looks lies a five-door versatile layout. Three full-size rear seats are accessed via seamlessly integrated rear doors with handles encased in the car’sextended window frames. The interior cabin boasts some intelligent innovation to increase travelling comfort. Customers can specify luxuries such as massaging front seats and an advanced DENON® audio system to further personalise their car.

The all-new DS4 is powered by three Euro 5 compliant engines, two diesels and one petrol. The HDi 110 is also available as an e-HDi which uses Cirtoen’s micro-hybrid technology, along with second generation Stop & Start, resulting in CO2 emissions of just 114g/km which places the car in tax band A with an annual road tax of €104.

The DS4 went on sale across Ireland earlier this week, and will be available across three grades – Dsign, DStyle and DSport. Prices commence at €23,995 for the HDi 110 DSign, to €29,895 for the top of the range THP 200 and HDi 160D Sport versions.
