BMW Motorrad Unveils 3 New Models

BMW Motorrad has unveiled three new motorcycles at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. These are the updated BMW S 1000 RR, the R 1200 RS and the R 1200 R. The S 1000 RR gains 6hp with a total output of 199hp, its weight has been reduced by 4 kilograms to 204 kilograms with a full tank of fuel and Race ABS. It is available with BMW’s DDC semi-active suspension along with advanced launch control, lean angle gauge and pit lane speed limiter. The race package includes a pro riding mode, dynamic traction control and cruise control. The dynamic package benefits from dynamic damping control, HP gear shift assist pro, heated grips and LED indicators.

 

The new R 1200 RS is powered by the 125hp liquid-cooled boxer engine that was introduced to the new R 1200 GS to produce a sporty touring motorcycle. It’s equipped with ASC traction control, ABS and two riding modes as standard. The new R 1200 R is also powered by the liquid-cooled boxer engine that produces 125hp. It’s available in three exclusive colour schemes and has ASC traction control, ABS and two riding modes as standard. You can specify to have your R 1200 R equipped with BMW’s gear shift assistant pro and keyless ride.
