Volkswagen Ireland has confirmed its pricing for the 2015 Volkswagen Touareg, with prices commencing from €69,675. This new price is a reduction of €6,430 over its predecessor, in addition this new model comes with an additional €10,000 worth of equipment too. Bi-xenon headlights are now standard fitment across the range. For Ireland, the car now comes with 20” Tarragona alloy wheels, Vienna leather upholstery with heated front comfort seats, Memory Pack including 14-way adjustment for the front seats, Bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail light assembly, tinted windows, premium Bluetooth, and Media-In for iPod/iPhone.
Volkswagen is offering customers who purchase a new Touareg in the first quarter of 2015 a free upgrade pack. This consists of a RNS 850 navigation system that includes premium cell phone preparation and iPhone/iPod connectivity, along with three years free servicing. The entry-level model is powered by a 3.0-litre TDI V6 diesel engine that produces 204hp and can return a combined fuel consumption of 6.6l/100km. The more powerful 262hp variant can also achieve the same fuel consumption. Both are equipped as standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
