Germany’s largest vehicle rental company, Sixt Rent A Car, has announced its launch into the Irish market. The Sixt rent a car franchise will be operated by County Car Rentals, a Dun Laoghaire based company. As a result of Sixt introduction to Ireland 11 new jobs have been created with plans to recruit a further 12 staff over the coming months. Commenting on the announcement, Bernard Loughran, Managing Director, Sixt rent a car Ireland commented, “County Car Rentals is delighted to partner with Sixt rent a car in Ireland as part of our strategy to expand and grow our business. This partnership gives us an opportunity to attract new tourism and corporate business from strong economic regions including Germany and Austria”.
