Opel has released details of the new lightweight seats that will be fitted to the Astra OPC, Opel’s most powerful Astra ever, which will be shown at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Rev.ie will be in attendance at the Geneva Show where we’ll bring you all the details on what’s new for 2012.
The Astra OPC’s front seats are made using an injection moulded sheet in the seat shells, which reduces their weight by 45 per cent compared with a conventional shell. The new seats are mounted 17 millimetres lower than in the Astra GTC and will have 18 way adjustment.
These Sports seats will be put to good use when driving the Astra OPC, with 280hp and 400Nm of torque it promises to provide an exhilarating drive. We’ll have more information on the Astra OPC closer to its launch and will provide images of it from the Geneva Motor Show.
