Nissan Ireland will be launching the new Nissan NP300 Navara at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co. Laois on Tuesday 22nd September. This will be the first European showcasing of the car after it is debuted at the Frankfurt Motorshow in the week previous. The new model features new headlights featuring an LED design and plenty of chrome from what we can see in these pictures. With a lower roofline and a blacked-out B-pillar it’s also a slightly more aggressive in its stance. We are hearing the new Navara features improvements in engine design and performance, developed for top-of-class fuel efficiency and emissions ratings, impressive power output and acceleration.

The transmission options are a 7-speed automatic that provides for low fuel consumption at slow speeds as well as improved acceleration or you can opt for the 6-speed manual transmission featuring enhanced fuel efficiency from low to high gear, with an optimised shift stroke and select rigidity increases that improves shifting performance to provide a smoother shift. The interior of the 2015 Nissan Navara has been completely redeveloped, moving beyond ‘plain and practical’ to add sporty styling, modern looks, quality materials and luxury features. We look forward to attending the launch and learning more about the engine options for Ireland along with the power outputs. Watch this space!
