FIAT has launched its new Fiat Panda Cross, which is based on the successful Panda 4X4. It has rugged looks, aided by a new chunky bumper and skidplate. There are new headlight clusters and LED daytime running lights up front. The Panda Cross is equipped with the new Terrain Control selector that offers three modes, Auto, Off-Road and Hill Descent Control. Powering the new Panda Cross is Fiat’s 1.3-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel engine that produces 80hp and 190Nm of torque. It’s capable of returning a combined fuel consumption of 4.7L/100km and has CO2 emissions of 125g/km. Just some of the standard equipment includes, climate control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, heated electric door mirrors, front fog lights and electronic stability control. Pricing for the new FIAT Panda Cross commences from €22,745 when it goes on sale in January.
