BMW’s new third-generation X5 will be launched in Ireland this coming November, with prices commencing from €79,450. It’s clear to see from these photos that it’s a case of evolution with the body design of the new X5. There are new trim specifications for customers to choose from, Design Pure Experience, Design Pure Excellence and M Sport, as well as a vast customisation programme so customers can tailor their car to their individual requirements. Standard fitment will be an automatic tailgate, this can be opened and closed by remote control.
There will be three engines available from launch, a 258hp xDrive30d six-cylinder diesel, which will no doubt be the primary seller, an xDrive50i V8 petrol engine with 450hp and an M50d M Performance diesel with 381hp. In December these engines will be joined with the addition of an xDrive40d, xDrive35i, XDrive25d and an sDrive25d. The later being a new model which is two-wheel drive, a first for a BMW X5.
