Mattie Griffin has just returned from the Hockenheimring Race Circuit in Germany who were hosting The Stuntriding German Open. He was competing against 46 competitors from various countries throughout Europe some considered to be the best stuntriders in the world…! On Saturday he went through two highly challenging qualifiers in which he got through to make it into the grand final on Sunday afternoon. Each rider had only 3 minutes in their final round on Sunday to show off their best tricks.
The level of riding was high and the competition was very tough as expected, Mattie was pretty happy with his final run, and managed to secure 7th position out of the 47 riders over all, with only six and a half points away from a podium position..! Over the coming months Mattie plans to create and introduce a range of new tricks to his current routine and return to next years competition for a podium postition.
