Just 3 Days To Bavaria City Racing Dublin

There’s just three days to go till the arrival of Bavaria City Racing Dublin, the event which brings Formula One cars to the streets of Dublin. If you’re planning on attending, we have the all-important timetable below listing the full schedule for the day’s track activity. Formula one star and former F1 World Champion Jenson Button will drive his Vodafone McLaren F1 car twice, with his first run scheduled to take place at 13:20 and his second run commencing at 14:35. Jenson will also be accompanied by Giedo van der Garde who will be driving the Caterham F1 car, Giedo will be on track three times in his F1 car (14:00, 15:25 and 16:30). Whilst the Formula One cars will be the highlight of the day, there’s also a host of other race, rally and drift cars that will be demonstrating throughout the day. World Superbike rider and Irishman Eugene Laverty will be riding his Aprilia world superbike on two occasions, at 13:40 and 16:20. Fellow Irishman and British Touring Car driver Aron Smith will drive his touring car at 12:30 and 15:05. 

Commenting on the event, Gavin Collins, Event Director for Bavaria City Racing Dublin, commented, “There is something for everyone at Bavaria City Racing. Not only will the people of Ireland get to experience the sights, sounds and smells of Formula 1 they will also see a host of vehicles that you would never see on these shores.
