BMW Motorrad has revealed yet another new model, with the arrival of the all-new BMW S 1000 XR. It’s powered by the same engine that’s fitted to the S 1000 R roadster, it produces 160hp and 112Nm of torque. The bike is equipped with two riding modes as standard, rain and road, along with automatic stability control. Customers can opt to have the Pro riding modes fitted, these include Dynamic Pro along with dynamic traction control and ABS Pro. Another optional addition is BMW’s dynamic ESA (electronic suspension adjustment). This all-new S 1000 XR combines parts of the famed GS 1200 and sport models to offer an adventure sport bike for motorcyclists. Full specifications and pricing will be announced closer to the bike’s arrival in early 2015.
